Its a pity that my camera was stolen.. they should at least give me back the memory card..... :( damn it!
Below are the only pictures i have for my LONDON and AMSTERDAM trip...
I travelled on 8th August alone to London(1day) and then to Amsterdam for 2 days.
This is the first time I am traveling alone and was actually nervous and excited. When checking in, the customer service asked me whether I was traveling alone and was I trying to "run away" from our SINGAPORE national day haha.. he was really nice and changed my seat so that no one will be beside me and I can have more space. What a great start!
Before going London, I had bought the one day pass and booked a hostel near London bridge which was really convenient.

The annoying part was... when I reached London, one of my baggage was delayed and will only reach later in the afternoon and I was really at a lost of what I was suppose to do.. I was suppose to meet up with a friend as well but somehow he did not called too.. Instead of wasting my time waiting, I decided to inform the hostel receptionist to keep my bag with them when it arrive and I will be back later to check in.
Alone and lost.. Off I went! First destination I went was the London bridge and on the way there, there were art statue of guitars painted in bright colors and patterns. Weather during summer was nice, but as I am not use to it, i was putting on my sweater when the wind blows and taking it off after 5 mins and that goes repeatedly lol... Below are some pictures I grabbed from the Internet.

After visiting London Bridge, I went to South Walk Cathedral and back to my hostel to check in. The girls' hostel was really cute - on the way up (via stairs.. OMG!) were painted in pink with really cute pictures and writing.
Pls note that London Eye ticket is not included in the one day pass and per person cost about 18 Pound. I took the free river ride (included in the one day pass) from London bridge to London eye, bought a ticket to London eye and left for St. Paul's Cathedral as they close around 5pm.
In the end, I managed to reach there on time. What's more was that I get to stand there and watch the last mass. Although I myself am not really a Catholic but still I believe that all gods are the same and it doesn't matter one is a catholic or a Christian.
After having some quiet time with God, I went back to London Eye, took the "flight" @ London Eye in the evening and all I could say was the sunset + scenery was really breath taking...
