HONG KONG 08 - SHOPPING

These are my shopping collection while I was in Hongkong. One backpack to Hongkong but a full huge nylon bag of clothes and bags back to Singapore :)

MACAU 08

My 1month stay in Hongkong was great! Shopping, hanging out with friends and living right next to prince edward was awesome. What's better was we decided to visit Macau during one of my weekends. Thanks to rachel's assistant, she helped us to book our ferry tickets and hotel at Venetian.

To our surprise, when we checked in, the lady told us that as all the room was fully booked and our room was given up wrongly to others. They had upgraded us to a suite without additional cost! Woo Hoo!!! How amazing is that?

HONG KONG 08 - TRANSITION

1st time in Hongkong and when I reached Prince Edward @ my friend's house, I was welcomed by my 3 dear friends, tou suan and local porridge. I was in hongkong for a month doing my transition for Polo Ralph Lauren and it was a great opportunity for me to live and explore Hongkong for that one month. I would like to give my thanks to Vivian who put me up at her house and for tolerating me with my smoking :P Also to Rachel and her dept for bringing me around and ordering lunch for me almost everyday. BIG HUGSSSSSSss!

PIX: 1st dinner gathering at MongKok for Korean BBQ and then to temple street for dessert.
Guess what the people are queuing up for???? Answer: Getting their fortune read!

PIX: My one month stay at Vivian's place @ Prince Edward.
PIX: This was where our company had offered to put us up for that one month. New World Apartments. (Lynn was staying there but I decided to stay at Vivian's cos it would be nice to catch up with her and live like a local)
PIX: Going to the PEAK!
**WARNING!!! The Que is terrible regardless going up or coming down..

PIX: The PEAK! Huge EA store at the PEAK.
PIX: ZAZA at Tsim Sha Tsui a club open by one of our vendor.
**A group of police about 20 over people came into the club and was trying to create a scene by checking everyone even thou there was not much customer around that time. (less than 20 customers) As we are not locals, we were kinda giggling and talking.. that Stupid So called CID was speaking in Cantonese to one of the staff to warn us not to giggle as this is not a laughing matter with his angry face. How rude is that??? You can tell us nicely instead of giving us that stern face of yours.

After they left, we got to know that it was some "BULLY" operation. Apparently and most probably the owner of the club did not "GIVE" protection $$ to the police so they came up and scare of the customers... I really hate this kinda police or so call government bodies...

PIX: A day at OCEAN PARK. Mini roller coaster ride
**DO NOT eat the food there because it is expensive and Yucky.
**WARNING! There is a long Que for every ride there, so do prepare yourself with caps, sunglasses and lots of water. Go there early in the morning so that you can get to enjoy all the rides in Ocean Park.
