KOH PHANGAN JAN 07

Island after another, parties after parties :) I really love this kinda life. (as for now) Right after Koh Phi Phi, we took a boat and a bus to Koh Phangan for the full moon party.

This time round, we stayed at Haadrin itself directly upstairs one of the pub. It cost about THB 500.00 per night which was shared among 4 of us. We stayed there for a night and move to Munchies which was a quieter place with really nice beach.

**the mirrors makes the room look big and it is really very nice for couples who are looking for some fun :P BUT... in the middle of the night, when the party below starts, it is really noisy and alot of drunken "ang mor" like to shout and run about the alley. Also while we were watching movie from my laptop, some idiot off the electricity switch outside our door and the entire room went pitch dark. This place is suitable for people who wanna save money on transport and for people who just wanna party all day long. I would not recommend this place for people who wanna chill out!

**Best place for people who want to chill out by the beach all day long. It is about 15mins away from Ban sabai for after party. I had tried walking towards the sea but it seems never ending and sometimes i really wonder where does it end and where the deep part of the sea begins...

**Chill out tunes were being played and i was just lying on the triangular cushion watching the sunset for an hour or so... really nice and peaceful

KOH PHI PHI - 2 DAY 1 NIGHT *great place for diving (if you are thinking where are the pictures of the places where they shot the movie "THE BEACH", am sorry we didn't have time to visit those sister island around Koh Phi Phi.. Perhaps... perhaps next time...

PIX: It's my 1st time at Koh Phi Phi am had always wonder how it looks like before TSUNAMI... but have no idea and only saw alot of constructions going on. On that same day, we saw a place where alot of tents were being set up and the sign board was saying something like memorial for tsunami victims or something.

We took a ferry ride from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi about 4 to 5 hours without booking a hotel! As it was year end hence there were alot of tourist and hence looking for a place to stay was so difficult. Carrying our backpacks without sleeping due to the GREENSPIRIT party, we were walking for almost 2 hours and finally ended up at a nice place to stay which cost us THB 2000. We were thinking, well for the entire trip we are gonna be really tight with our wallets but why not JUST 1 NIGHT, 1 NIGHT ONLY hehe ... we will stay in a nice place with hot water and air con

After checking in, we went to the beach for a tan but by then the sun was not really up there if you know what i mean. We spent the entire afternoon till evening passing out at the beach till about 7pm haha.. we had a good rest finally!

PIX: After that good rest by the beach, we went for a shower and went out on the street to had some seafood. As i am not a great fan of seafood hence we only had fish :P By night, Phi Phi for that period was pretty quiet.. guess it was due to all the year end parties at Krabi, full moon parties at Koh Phangan, thats why Phi Phi is like a dead town. But well that was just what i needed for that day, good rest!
