KOH PHI PHI - 2 DAY 1 NIGHT *great place for diving (if you are thinking where are the pictures of the places where they shot the movie "THE BEACH", am sorry we didn't have time to visit those sister island around Koh Phi Phi.. Perhaps... perhaps next time...
PIX: It's my 1st time at Koh Phi Phi am had always wonder how it looks like before TSUNAMI... but have no idea and only saw alot of constructions going on. On that same day, we saw a place where alot of tents were being set up and the sign board was saying something like memorial for tsunami victims or something.
We took a ferry ride from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi about 4 to 5 hours without booking a hotel! As it was year end hence there were alot of tourist and hence looking for a place to stay was so difficult. Carrying our backpacks without sleeping due to the GREENSPIRIT party, we were walking for almost 2 hours and finally ended up at a nice place to stay which cost us THB 2000. We were thinking, well for the entire trip we are gonna be really tight with our wallets but why not JUST 1 NIGHT, 1 NIGHT ONLY hehe ... we will stay in a nice place with hot water and air con
After checking in, we went to the beach for a tan but by then the sun was not really up there if you know what i mean. We spent the entire afternoon till evening passing out at the beach till about 7pm haha.. we had a good rest finally!
PIX: After that good rest by the beach, we went for a shower and went out on the street to had some seafood. As i am not a great fan of seafood hence we only had fish :P By night, Phi Phi for that period was pretty quiet.. guess it was due to all the year end parties at Krabi, full moon parties at Koh Phangan, thats why Phi Phi is like a dead town. But well that was just what i needed for that day, good rest!
